Since joining the practice in 1997, Dermot has managed a wide variety of projects for both public and private clients covering many industry sectors. In 2000, Dermot became Partner in MacMinn O’Reilly Mahon and has played a key role in developing the practice into one of the most respected regionally based practices in the South-east.
Dermot is a Member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (MSCSI) and a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
During 2012, Dermot became owner and manager of the practice and remained so until 2015. During 2015, MacMinn O’Reilly Mahon became a partnership and Dermot was joined by Tom Corcoran.
Tom is an experienced Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MSCSI) providing independent Cost Consultancy services to private and public clients for the past 16 years. During this time, he has had the opportunity to work on many large scale projects, in various roles as Senior Surveyor, Associate, Partner and Director at MacMinn O’Reilly Mahon.
Tom has worked on numerous large scale apartment and housing developments, with budgets ranging from €18m to €40m. On a number of these projects, his role extended beyond typical QS services, to include Contract Administration and Project Management.
Emmett joined MacMinn O’Reilly Mahon in 2015, having previously worked on a range of pharmaceutical development projects. During his time with MacMinn O’Reilly Mahon, he has assisted in further developing our pharmaceutical service offering, together with delivering a number of major public projects.
Emmett was promoted to Associate Director in January 2019 so as to further strengthen the management team.
Carrie has been a Quantity Surveyor for over 15 years, with vast experience in Quantity Surveying, Project Management and Construction Cost Management Services. Carrie is currently taking the APC programme with the SCSI to obtain Chartership status. Carrie has worked with many property developers, providing assistance on the overall development process including feasibility exercises, site acquisition and building construction costs and profitability exercises on potential developments.
Kieran is a Qualified Project Manager. Prior to moving to Ireland in 2017, Kieran gained international experience in Project Management and Cost Control.
Kieran has worked on wide variety of projects in the residential, commercial, retail, education and government sectors. Since joining MacMinn O’ Reilly Mahon, Kieran has worked with one of Ireland’s largest property developers, the O’ Flynn Group, on a number of large residential projects. In this position, he has gained extensive experience liaising with clients and project teams, the preparation and assessment of request for tenders / fee proposals in relation to various sub-consultants and contractors; coordination of design and construction teams; monitoring and reporting project performance against time, cost and quality; processing and tracking contractor and consultant fee claims.
Michelle joined MacMinn O’ Reilly Mahon in 2015 with 20+ years’ administration and office management experience. Michelle has worked in a range of businesses prior to joining McMinn O’Reilly Mahon and has fulfilled Administration, Customer Services and Accounting / Financial roles for these businesses. Michelle manages the day to day administration in our office providing support to our team and is responsible for accounts and financial tasks.
Doireann joined us for work experience in early 2022 and we were delighted when she accepted our offer of a full time position following her graduation. Doireann graduated in 2023 with a well earned first class honours from SETU Waterford. Doireann is assisting on a wide variety of projects and proving herself to be an invaluable member of the team.
Jake is currently completing his Quantity Surveying degree in SETU and joined MacMinn O’Reilly Mahon in 2024 to gain industry experience. Jake is currently assisting on several large scale residential developments.
Bradley is currently studying Quantity Surveying at SETU Carlow and joined MacMinn O’Reilly Mahon in the summer of 2024. As part of his 4th-year placement module, Bradley has been assisting us with preparing cost estimates for large school developments. As a mature student, Bradley is using his previous experience in operations management and HVAC to assist in his new role.
